Entering a residential care facility can be one of the most stressful events for an older person and their family. The first 4 weeks have been identified as often being the most stressful period due to adjusting to new circumstances and major changes to routines and life in general. This is a time when relatives can play a meaningful role in assisting a family member to adjust and settle into their new home, helping them create relationships with staff and other residents. This familial support can ease the sense of loss sometimes experienced with such a significant transition.
Getting to Know You. Moving to a new home can be a big adjustment, especially during your senior years. At Murray House Aged Care, we understand this. We want to assure you of a warm welcome and exceptional care that’s tailored entirely to you.
Care Designed for You. We believe in building strong relationships with our residents. That’s why we take the time to learn about your life experiences, interests, and preferences. This allows us to create a personalised care plan that reflects who you are and what matters most to you.
Your Comfort, Our Priority. Through open communication and collaboration, we’ll work with you and your loved ones to develop a care plan that addresses your specific needs and preferences. Whether it’s assistance with daily living activities, managing medications, or simply enjoying stimulating activities, our dedicated team is here to support you every step of the way.
